   vlt.plot.cleanfig - Cleans a figure for saving in guide

   vlt.plot.cleanfig(FIGNUM, UNITS)

   Cleans all string entries from 'edit' and 'popup' uitools,
   and sets units of all uitools to UNITS.

   Useful for saving a figure after editing it.
